We all know or have heard about men and women who have burned out or fallen out. We see burnout when people get tired and quit. They lose heart for ministry and sometimes even for
life. They lose hope. When they look to the past, they get discouraged. When they look at the present, they are tired and discouraged. And when they look to the future, they have no positive
expectation—no hope. Life loses meaning, and they step back and quit. I have seen this happen in the lives of Christian leaders and so have you.
