| Tribal Chief Comes to Christ; Walks Out of Training Meeting |

In short order the village chief or elder came to Christ. During a follow‐up training event just weeks after coming to Christ, the chief left the meeting. Returning a few minutes later, he was carrying and dragging a huge collection of idols from his house. Immediately others sprang to their feet and disappeared – only to return in a short time with arm loads of idols. The idols were destroyed and burned that day. The Christ‐followers in that people group (and village) continue to grow in the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ. God has granted to Kolkata born, Bengala speaking Santosh the grace to see early evangelistic harvest within a people group bring forth not only an interpreter in the mother language, but to quickly identify the God‐called elders to begin equipping them and putting them into place. Least reached and unreached peoples of this northern part of India and Bangladesh are on the heart of Santosh Makal. Through a unique strategy given him by the Lord, people groups are targeted, the gospel is shared, churches are planted, and discipleship begins. Needs for the Malda Christian Fellowship include:
