Giving to IMD was Spirit lead from the first. Now it’s a part of our giving plan. We don’t target a specific ministry or area in IMD. We have grown close with many leaders and contributors and know that the ministry leaders are lead by the Spirit and the funds are put where God would have them be – 100% of the funds. God knows more than we do where the funds should be directed. We have given to individual ministries as a sort of “gift” but this is above our normal giving and again given because 100% goes directly to the ministry. I’m amazed at what God does with our small gift – it truly multiplies as we watch the ministries of IMD grow.

Malda Christian FellowshipGod led the outreach team from Malda Fellowship in northern West Bengal to an unreached, nomadic tribal group in a rural area of Malda district of West Bengal, India. God’s grace rained wonderfully as several came to faith in Christ.

In short order the village chief or elder came to Christ. During a follow‐up training event just weeks after coming to Christ, the chief left the meeting. Returning a few minutes later, he was carrying and dragging a huge collection of idols from his house. Immediately others sprang to their feet and disappeared – only to return in a short time with arm loads of idols. The idols were destroyed and burned that day. The Christ‐followers in that people group (and village) continue to grow in the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ.

God has granted to Kolkata born, Bengala speaking Santosh the grace to see early evangelistic harvest within a people group bring forth not only an interpreter in the mother language, but to quickly identify the God‐called elders to begin equipping them and putting them into place. Least reached and unreached peoples of this northern part of India and Bangladesh are on the heart of Santosh Makal. Through a unique strategy given him by the Lord, people groups are targeted, the gospel is shared, churches are planted, and discipleship begins.

Needs for the Malda Christian Fellowship include:

  • Construct training center in strategic region of West Bengal; $4,700
  • Wheelchairs for handicapped vocational school; $150 each X 6
  • Sewing machines for vocational training; $98 each X 15
  • Translation and production of church planter training manual (1,000 copies); $2,200

Contact us now to learn how you can be a part of this evangelistic outreach in Northern India and Bangladesh.
