I am pleased to give to the ministry of Koos Basson through IMD because I have personally been on numerous trips to African countries with Koos and have seen firsthand the quality of his ministry. IMD is meeting a strategic need of providing training to pastors and church leaders in countries where they do not have the opportunity to access higher training.

Believers in ZambiaGod directed Henry and the outreach team to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Bangweulu Swamps in the northern province of Zambia. Through a full day of hiking into the swamps carrying all necessary items, the team overnights at the water’s edge.

Hours of toiling by banana boats the next day lands them on Chafye Island – home to a few thousand people reside. A new church recently planted there by disciples, Milan and Boiler. These dear men accepted the Great Commission and went by faith in the name of Jesus. Now, Henry and the outreach team arrive to further evangelize, do discipleship training, strengthening the body of Christ. The need now – Bibles, boxes of Bibles are needed for the on‐going maturity of the Christ‐followers.

Teaching in ZambiaA series of events which could only have been arranged by God brought together Koos Basson of South Africa and Henry Katontoka of Zambia. Through years of doing God’s work together in the northern province of Zambia, God has launched Henry through the Holy Spirit to expand the preaching, the outreach, and the follow‐up work of making disciples. Several of the new disciples are taking the Gospel to new areas – reaching toward Democratic Republic of the Congo and toward Tanzania.
